President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes at a January 21 meeting reviewing the results of the past year's work.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, Abdurahmon Halimzoda, who had previously served as the head of the Finance Directorate at President’s Executive Office, was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance replacing Jamshed Nurmahmadiyon.

Nurmahmadiyon was relieved of his post of Deputy Finance Minister in connection with transfer to other job.

Karim Gulmurodzoda, who had previously served as deputy head of the Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan, was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance. 

Sirojiddin Ikromi, formerly deputy head of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT), was appointed to head Amonatbonk (Tajikistan’s savings bank) replacing Ruhullo Hakimzoda.  

Khol Haidar, who had previously served as First Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies, was appointed Deputy Governor of the Sughd Province.

Bakhtiyor Sharipovv was appointed First Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies.  

Ms. Marhabo Nourali, formerly deputy director general of the State Unitary Enterprise Khojagii Manziliyu Kommunali (KMK — the state holding company for public utilities), was appointed the first deputy director-general of KMK replacing Ravshan Tuichizoda. 

Bakhtiyor Safarzoda replaced Marhabo Nourali as deputy director-general of KMK. 

Abdukhalil Ghafouzoda was appointed Rector of the Institute of Public Administration under the President of Tajikistan replacing Ms. Lutfiya Abdukholiqzoda.

Ms. Abdukholiqzoda was appointed to head the Science and Education Directorate at President’s Executive Office.

Izatullo Saidzoda was appointed to head the National Legislation Center under the President of Tajikistan.

Farhod Mahmadshozoda was appointed deputy head of the National Legislation Center under the President of Tajikistan. 

Isojon Qurbonzoda was appointed to head the Infrastructure Development Directorate at President’s Executive Office.

Sunatullo Mirzozoda was appointed to head the Legal Directorate at President’s Executive Office.

Alamkhon Naimi, formerly head of one of departments at the Finance Directorate at President’s Executive Office, was appointed to head the Finance Directorate at President’s Executive Office.

Amirjon Ubaidullo (the son of Majlsi Milli speaker Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev), who had previously served as deputy head of the Finance Directorate at President’s Executive Office, was appointed Senior Adviser at the Department of President’s Aide for Economic Matters. 

President Emomali Rahmon met with newly appointed officials on January 22.
