Some residential buildings in Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district are being left without electricity for seven hours today in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply networks.

“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to residential buildings ## 108 and 110 on Roudaki Avenue as well as Ghani Abdullo, Zainabbibi, Pushkin and Bokhtar streets from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply networks said.

According to him, routine maintenance work will be carried out by turns on all power substations in the city until the beginning of the heating season.

Maintenance work on power stations in the Tajik capital has been carried out since the beginning of the year.
