A windsqual killed one man and injured one another in Dushanbe yesterday morning after a tree fell on a moving car, according to the Emergencies Committee press center.

Another fatal natural disaster took place in Tursunzoda district, some 60 kilometers to the west of Dushanbe Sunday morning.

A 16-year-old teen from the village of Bahoriston, Aziz Qulov, was killed in a mudslide that was caused by torrential rain.

Aziz was pasturing cattle when the mudslide occurred, Umeda Yusufi, a spokeswoman for the Emergencies Committee, told Asia-Plus in an interview.

According to her, Aziz died trying to save cattle.  His body was reportedly found in several hours.
