Tajik leader yesterday attended an official opening ceremony of a Faizi Karim Service Center in the village of Gharghara, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

Built by local entrepreneur Saifiddin Faizalizoda, the center sews military uniform, working clothes for workers of many sectors, children’s garment and hosiery products.

The center will receive raw materials from  the Juntai Danghara Sin Silu Textiles Production Complex, the president’s website says.

More than 70 local residents, with 80 percent of them being women, now work for the Faizi Karim Service Center.

While in Gharghara, the head of state also laid the cornerstone for a cotton-painting workshop, which is expected to be introduced into operation in 2021.
