A man has got a life sentence for repeated rape of his daughter, according to the press center of the Dushanbe city court.   

The Dushanbe city court sentenced Saivali Iskandarov to life in jail on May 28.

The sentence followed his conviction on charges of raping close relative with use of weapons or threat of use of weapons or objects used as weapons (Article 138 (3) of Tajikistan’s Penal Code).

Iskandarov will serve his jail in a special regime penal colony.   

A report posted on the Dushanbe city court’s website says Iskandarov raped his daughter repeatedly.
