Rahmon shakes up tax officials and Supreme Court judges

President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes in the Supreme Court and the Tax Committee, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

In accordance with Article 60 (8) of the Constitution of Tajikistan, the recommendation of the President on retiring Judge at the Supreme Court Akhtam Akramov for health reasons has been sent to the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper house of parliament).

In accordance with Article 60 (8) of the Constitution of Tajikistan, the recommendation of the President on appointing Shavkat Lutfullozoda First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court has been sent to the Majlisi Milli.  Lutfullozoda had previously served as Judge at the Supreme Court.

Besides, in accordance with Article 60 (8) of the Constitution of Tajikistan, the recommendations of the President on appointing Rukhshona Hakim and Khusrav Davlatzoda Judges at the Supreme Court of Tajikistan have been sent to the Majlisi Milli.     

By government’s decrees Abdusalom Rahimzoda, Narzullo Malikzoda and Kaabatullo Melikzoda were appointed Deputy Chairpersons of the Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan.   

The Deputy Commander of the National Guards of Tajikistan for Morale and Welfare, Colonel Ismatullo Odinazoda, has been retired for age reasons.  

By president’s decree Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan Khairullo Ibodzoda has concurrently been appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Mongolia.
