Tajik girl Sabrina Abrorova has won a silver in the under-14 rapid at the 2019 Western Asia Junior Chess Championship that kicked off in the Indian capital of New Delhi on September 4, according to Tajikistan’s Chess Federation.  

There are eight age categories for open (6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20) and girls and 336 player from ten countries are taking part in this grant event, which has all the tree format of the game – standard chess, rapid and blitz.  The event will last until September 11. 

The Secretary-General of Tajikistan’s Chess Federation, Ilhom Yunusov, expressed hope that Sabrina will win gold medals in the under-14 standard chess and blitz.
