The 20th session of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) will be held on September 20.

Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali signed a resolution on convening the next session of the Dushanbe local council on September 11.  

The Dushanbe legislature members will discuss the plan of preparation for the 30th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence that will be marked in 2021 and the plan of 300 days of reforms on supporting entrepreneurship and improving investment climate in the country, an official source at the Dushanbe Administration told Asia-Plus in an interview.   

According to him, they will also hear a report on preparations to ensure the regular work of the city’s economy during autumn-winter season 2019-2020.  

The Dushanbe legislature members will also hold meetings with their voters on September 18 and the results of these meeting will be discussed at the upcoming session, the source added.   .
