We have counted how long it will take you to make money for the cheapest one-roomed flat in Central Asian capitals based on the average monthly salaries.

An average monthly salary is US$140.00 in Dushanbe (Tajikistan), US$200.00 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), US$230.00 in Kyrgyzstan, US$230.00 in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), and US$440.00 in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan).   

Average residential square meter prices are US1,000.00 in Nur-Sultan (the minimum residential square meter price is US$550.00), US$800.00 in Bishkek (the minimum residential square meter price is US460.00), US$700.00 (the minimum residential square meter price is US$450.00), US$850.00 in Ashgabat (the minimum residential square meter price is US$560.00), and US$670.00 in Tashkent the (minimum residential square meter price is US$430).

Average prices for the one roomed flat are US$28,000 in Nur-Sultan (the minimum price is US$19,000), US$27,500 in Bishkek (the minimum price is US$17,500), US$25,000 in Dushanbe (the minimum price is US$17,000), US$33,000 in Ashgabat (the minimum price is US$22,000), and US$22,000 in Tashkent (the minimum price is US$15,000).       

Based on these figures, we have counted that it will take those, who receive an average monthly salary, 11 years and one month to earn money for the one-roomed flat on the outskirts of Dushanbe.

In Nur-Sultan, it will take 3 years and six months to make money for the cheapest one-roomed flat, in Bishkek – 6 years and three months, Ashgabat – 8 years, and in Tashkent – 6 years and two months.
