Jealous husband has inflicted elevens stab wounds on his wife in broad daylight in the park in the city of Kulob.
According to the Interior Ministry’s website, the incident took place on September 30. While walking the new park named after S. Valizoda, the 35-year-old resident of Kulob inflicted eleven stab wounds on his 27-year-old wife out of jealousy.
The young woman was hospitalized in critical condition.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the man under the provisions of two articles of Tajikistan’s Penal Code: Article 32 – criminal attempt; and Article 104 – murder. An investigation is under way.
