One detained in Dushanbe for murder

A 19-year-old resident of Dushanbe has been arrested on suspicion of murder, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.

He reportedly inflicted a stab wound on 17-year-old teen following quarrel.  The teen died on the spot. 

The Interior Ministry press center says the incident took place Wednesday morning at around 7:40 am on the Borbad Street.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.  

Three days earlier, two underage residents of Roudaki district were detained on suspicion of beating a teenager and inflicting a stab wound on him.

A 36-year-old resident of the village of Obchakoron, Roudaki district applied to the Interior Ministry’s office in Roudaki district saying that two teens beat her 17-year-old son and inflicted a stab wound on him.  The teen was hospitalized.

Two 17-year-old residents of the Chimteppa village, Roudaki district were detained on suspicion of committing this crime.  Criminal proceedings have been instituted against them and an investigation is under way.
