Rolling blackouts have been resumed in some areas of Dushanbe and nine streets and one neighborhood in the Tajik capital will be left without electricity for seven hours today in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply network.

“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to Pushkin, Tillo Poulodi and Gagarin streets in Ismoili Somoni district, Khorog, Pamir, Druzhba Narodov and Aminjon Shukuhi streets in Shohmansour district and Avoul and Obod Koron streets in Sino district from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply network told Asia-Plus in an interview.

“Besides, electricity supply will be cut off to Gulbutta mahalla in Firdavsi district from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm,” the source added.
