Ms. Makhfirat Khidirzoda has been relieved of her post of deputy governor of Khatlon province in connection with transfer to other job.

An official source within the Khatlon regional administration says Ms. Khidirzoda will work with the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER).

The source refrained from giving further details.   

Ms. Makhfirat Khidirzoda had worked as deputy governor of Khatlon province since 2016.  Prior to this she ha served as chairperson of the Committee for Women and Family Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan.
