Under a ruling handed down by a court in Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district, Dilmurod Asadov has been fined 21,000 somoni for smuggling 26 mobile phones of various modifications from Dubai.

“All the mobile phones that were brought to the country illegally were confiscated in favor of the state,” a source within the Ismoili Somoni district court said.

According to him, Dilmurod Asadov brought the mobile phones to Dushanbe from Dubai in October this year without customs clearance and payment of relevant duties.
