Tajik leader yesterday had phone conversations with his Uzbek and Kyrgyz counterparts.  The leaders vowed to boost cooperation in 2020.

Yesterday afternoon, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon had a phone conversation with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev, according to the Tajik president’s official website. 

The two reportedly exchanged warm New Year greetings and good wishes for well-being, peace and prosperity to the fraternal Tajik and Uzbek peoples.  

Rahmon and Mirziyoyev expressed satisfaction with a high dynamic of strategic partnership between their countries.

Tajik leader expressed confidence that relations between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan would continue developing in the next year as well. 

On the same day, Emomali Rahmon had phone conversation with Kyrgyzstan’s President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.

In the course of the conversation, both leaders reportedly spoke for further positive development of relationships between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. 

Emomali Rahmon, in particular, noted that Tajikistan would take necessary measures to enrich neighborly relations with Kyrgyzstan in the future as well.
