A 66-year-old lonely woman has been found dead in her apartment in Dushanbe.

“Neighbors of the woman, worrying that she has not left her apartment for several days, applied to the Emergencies Committee,” Umeda Yusufi, a spokeswoman for the Emergencies Committee, told Asia-Plus in an interview.

According to her, the Emergencies Committee employees opened the apartment in the presence of neighbors and police and found the lifeless body of the woman. 

The cause of death has not yet been established. The body of the woman has reportedly been handed over to relevant authorities.
