Coronavirus: the number of officially confirmed cases of COVID-19 reaches 4,100 in Tajikistan

According to official data from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population, 87 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Tajikistan over the past day, bring a total number of the confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 4,100 as of June 2, 2020.

No coronavirus-linked deaths have been reported over the past day, the single national portal on the new coronavirus issues says.

The number of COVID-19-related death remains the same in Tajikistan – 47.

128 patients have reportedly recovered over the past day.  As of June 2, 2,217 patients have recovered.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population says 7,600 doctors and 25,000 nurses now work with 85 hospitals in Tajikistan.  

Besides, 7,600 doctors and more than 24,000 nurses reportedly provide medical care in primary health care facilities.
