Since early May, all hospitals in Dushanbe have been involved in admitting and treating COVID-19 patients.  

By June 4, all patients recovering from the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have been discharged from some Dushanbe-based hospitals, according to the Dushanbe Administration press center. 

“On June 8, Gastroenterology Clinic, Tajik railways hospital, the  Republican Heart Disease Clinical Center and the Center of Urological Diseases of the National Medical Center “Shifobakhsh” as well the maternity ward of the Medical Complex “Istiqlol” that had been involved in examining and treating COVID-19 patients will return to daily routine,” the source said.  

Until Monday, disinfection works will be carried out at the mentioned medical facilities, the source added.  

The Minister of health and Social Protection of the Population, Jaloliddin Abdullozoda, had earlier noted that now only two infectious diseases hospitals, partially “Shifobakhsh” National Medical Center (Qariyai Bolo hospital) and two building of the Medical Complex “Istiqlol” will admit COVID-19 patients.
