Rahmon shakes up police and healthcare officials

President Emomali Rahmon, who is also Head of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, has introduced a number of staff changes, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  

Thus, by government’s decree Mr. Saidnakhsh Rahmonzoda was appointed Deputy Interior Minister.

Mr. Ghafour Muhsinzoda was appointed the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population, replacing Ms. Saida Umarzoda.

Mr. Samariddin Alizoda was appointed Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population, replacing Mr. Mirhamuddin Kamolzoda.

Ms. Zulfiya Abdusamadzoda was appointed Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population.  

By government’s decree Mr. Subhiddin Shamsiddinzoda was appointed the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting under the Government of Tajikistan, replacing Mahamdsharif Boboshozoda.

Ms. Dilafrouz Rustamzoda was appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting under the Government of Tajikistan, replacing Ms. Sairam Baqozoda.

In accordance with Article 9 of the RT Law “On Police”, chefs of police departments in Darvoz, Vanj and Rushan districts of the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), the Shahriston district and the city of Khujand of the Sughd province and the Temourmalik district of the Khatlon province have been replaced upon the agreement with the president.
