Members of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament have been back from the summer recess.

Until the end of September, members of the Majlisi Namoyandagon will work in committees and commissions to discuss draft laws presented by the government and other subjects of lawmaking, Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, told Asia-Plus in an interview.

Besides, they will hold meetings with their voters, Sultonov added.  

On October 1, 2002, the first sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the sixth convocation will take place.
