Interagency Commission for Protection of State Secrets will be set up in Tajikistan. 

An appropriate decree on this subject was signed by President Emomali Rahmon on August 25.

The Commission is a collegial organ coordinating activities of government bodies responsible for protection of state secrets and technical protection of classified information, the document says.  

The Commission will also make suggestion on improvement of the system of protection of state secrets.  

Besides, the Commission will coordinate development of short- and long-term national and interagency programs on information security, address problems concerning issuance of admission to officials and citizens to state secrets, and determine obligations of citizens to preserve state secrets.
