Former secretary of the Ismoili Somoni district court of Dushanbe city Mijgona Muzafarzoda detained on suspicion of taking bribes. She committed the fraud while in office, the press center of the anti-corruption agency reported.
Mijgona Muzaffarzoda in December 2019, being a court secretary, demanded $ 5 thousand from citizen M. Solekhzoda for assistance in the appointment to the position of court secretary.
«Having received 25 thousand somoni (about $ 2.5 thousand), she demanded to pay the rest of the amount. January 15, 2020 M. Muzaffarzoda received an Opel-Astra car instead of money, – the press center reports.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Article 247, part 3 (Large-scale fraud), the investigation is ongoing.
