The Investment Forum of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan was held in Dushanbe, within the framework of which the business circles of the two countries signed new agreements.

The event took place within the framework of the 7th meeting of the Tajik-Uzbek Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

The forum was attended by over 300 participants from both sides, including heads of state bodies, state enterprises and organizations, as well as representatives of the private sector.

The participants were introduced to the investment climate and opportunities in tourism, industry, energy, services and other areas, and also considered joint projects for cooperation.

After the end of the official part of the Forum, bilateral meetings of entrepreneurs in the format "Entrepreneur with Entrepreneur" (B2B) were held, as a result of which new documents on cooperation were agreed and signed.

According to the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management, within the framework of the forum, subjects of the public and private sectors signed 15 cooperation agreements worth $ 50 million, which cover almost all areas of economic cooperation.
