Rahmon shakes up regional administrators in Khatlon and Sughd provinces

President Emomali Rahmon, who is also Head of the Government, yesterday introduced a number of staff changes. 

According to the Tajik president’s official website, Said Yoqubzoda was relieved of his post of Chairman of Jomi District in Khatlon Province in connection with transfer to other job.

He was replaced with Safar Rahimzoda, First Deputy Chairman of Jomi District.  

Said Yoqubzoda had been Chairman of Jomi District since May 5, 2019.    

Rahmatullo Safarzoda was relieved of his post of Chairman of Khuroson District in Khatlon Province in connection with transfer to other job.

He was replaced with Ilhom Ahmadzoda, First Deputy Chairman of Khuroson District.

Maliksho Nematov was relieved of his post of Mayor of Nurek City (Khatlon Province) in connection with transfer to other job.

He was appointed to head the Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan. 

Dilshod Asozoda was appointed acting Mayor of Nurek City.  

Islom Ziyozoda was relieved of his post of Mayor of Panjakent City (Sughd Province) in connection with transfer to other job.

Abdukholiq Kholiqzoda was appointed acting Mayor of Panjakent City.

Zafarbek Davlatzoda was relieved of his post of Mayor of Konibodom City (Sughd Province) in connection with transfer to other job.

He was appointed acting Chairperson of Bobojon-Ghafourov District in Sughd Province

Abdusalom Tukhtasunzoda was appointed acting Mayor of Konibodom City.

Ashourali Jalilzoda was relieved of his post of Chairperson of Shahriston District in Sughd Province in connection with transfer to other job. 

He was appointed acting Chairperson of Devashtich District in Sughd Province

Bahodour Akramzoda was appointed acting Chairperson of Shahriston District.

Khudoinazar Amonzoda was relieved of his post of Mayor of Istiqlol City (Sughd Province) in connection with transfer to other job.

Davron Zohidzoda was appointed acting Mayor of Istiqlol City.     

Zarif Naziri, formerly Chairperson of Bobojon-Ghafourov District, was appointed Deputy Governor of Sughd Province, replacing Rustam Karimzoda. 

Zarif Naziri is the nephew of Prime Minister Qohir Rasoulzoda.
