Beginning from the next year, the Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan and the Customs Service under the Government of Tajikistan will get 30 percent of the overall amount of the hidden taxes and customs duties that will be revealed by them. 

The 2021 budget says this is done to incentivize tax and customs officers and strengthen the resource and material bases of these agencies.  

These regulations of the la won the national budget for 2021 will not apply to social tax, special tax regime and local budget, evasion of which are revealed during the inspection activities.  

Tax receipts to the 2021 budget are projected at 18.8 billion somonis, which is 68 percent of the budget revenues.  

In 2021, tax receipts to the budget are expected to increase by 890 million somonis or 6.0 percent compared to this year’s budget.
