Tajik President Emomali Rahmon yesterday sent a message to Joe Biden to congratulate him on his election as U.S. President.

Tajik leader, in particular, noted that Tajikistan considers strengthening and expanding multifaceted partnership with the United States of America as one of priorities of its foreign policy.  

He expressed hope for further expansion of the bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and the United States.  

Recall, Joe Biden on December 14 crossed the 270-vote mark to be formally elected as next US president by the Electoral College.

Biden reached the milestone with California's 55 votes.  After Hawaii then added its tally, Biden reached 306 votes.  Current US President Donald Trump received 232.
