From March 15 through March 25, members of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) will go to the regions to meet with their voters to explain them president’s address to the parliament.

While in the regions, MPs also intend to study the opinion of Tajikistanis on the legislative process and get acquainted with socioeconomic situation in the regions and problems facing their voters 

Recall, President Emomali Rahmon addressed a joint meeting of both chambers of the parliament on January 26, 2021.  In his address to the parliament, the president usually discusses the country’s priorities in domestic politics and foreign policy as well as the main economic challenges.

Majlisi Namoyandagon Speaker Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda has reportedly asked MPs to carefully prepare for the meetings with voters, hear their concerns and clearly convey to voters all the points of the president's address to the parliament.
