Jourazoda briefed on development of the tourist infrastructure in Tajikistan, development of e-visa electronic system and functioning of information centers in Dushanbe and other cities, noting that the quality of service has improved in the country.

Douglas A Grimes, for his part, reportedly noted that groups of American tourists intend to visit Tajikistan.

The parties expressed hope that the COVID-19 situation in the world will be manageable and will gradually stabilize.

The sides also discussed issues related to regularly holding joint webinars on popularizing tourism opportunities and providing additional information about tourists regions in Tajikistan, visa system, improvement of infrastructure and logistics, etc.
