Russia’s top diplomat says Moscow wants to fully resume the frequency and volume of air traffic with Dushanbe as soon as possible.

“We want to resume the frequency and volume of regular air traffic with Tajikistan as soon as possible, including for the return of all Tajik students studying in Russia, and this is almost 20,000 people,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted today in Dushanbe at a joint press conference with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin.

Despite the fact that Tajikistan and Russia have been operating charter flights and resumed regular flights on April 1, travelers have often faced various problems such as expensive air tickets or inability to take the corresponding flight.
