Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper house of parliament) Speaker, Rustam Emomali has signed a decree to convene the sixth session of the Majlisi Milli of the sixth convocation, a source within Tajik parliament told Asia-Plus in an interview.

The session will take place on June 21 and Majlisi Milli members will discuss a number of bills amending some country’s laws.

Thus, they will discuss amendments made to the country’s laws on the access to information about activities of courts, highways and road activities, etc.  

Majlisi Milli members will also discuss issues related to renaming two settlements in Nourobod district (Rasht Valley in eastern Tajikistan).
