The National Museum of Tajikistan hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition of children's creativity of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states entitled "Welcome to the 20th anniversary of the SCO", reported by the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

This exhibition is organized in accordance with the Plan of the main events of the chairmanship of Tajikistan in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on the initiative of the National Commission for UNESCO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan together with the SCO Secretariat, Chinese companies “Shanghai Art Fair International Exhibition Co., Ltd”, “Yunnan SCO Culture and Sports Co.” and the Union of Artists of Tajikistan.

The exposition, which will last from 6 to 15 September, presents more than 200 paintings by children from the SCO member states on the themes of peace, friendship, mutual respect and striving for good.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sharaf Sheralizoda made a welcoming speech. He congratulated everyone on the 30th anniversary of the country's independence, and also thanked the SCO member states for their active participation in this event.
