Today, Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

The head of China congratulated the President and all residents of Tajikistan on the 30th anniversary of the country's independence, reported by the press service of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the conversation, the heads of the two states discussed various aspects of Tajik-Chinese relations, and Emomali Rahmon expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for the timely delivery of the necessary doses of Chinese-made antiviral vaccine to Tajikistan..

The leaders of Tajikistan and China exchanged views on the development of the situation in the region in the context of the escalation of the military-political situation in Afghanistan.

It is noted that when discussing multilateral relations, attention was focused on the current chairmanship of Tajikistan in the SCO and the upcoming anniversary Summit of the Organization in the city of Dushanbe.
