Dushanbe will host an international wrestling tournament, the winners of which will receive cars and cash prizes.

An international wrestling tournament will take place at the Navruzgoh complex on September 12. Wrestlers from 13 countries will take part in it,  reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.

The tournament was organized by the local executive authority of Dushanbe together with the Tajik Wrestling Federation in honor of the 30th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence.

Athletes from Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Palestine, India and Iran have confirmed their participation in the Dushanbe tournament.

Competitions are held in 5 weight categories: 60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, + 90 kg among men and in one weight: 65 kg among women.

The winners in each of the 6 weight categories will receive the main prize – a car. Also, the silver medalists will receive 3 thousand US dollars, and those who took the third place – 1.5 thousand US dollars.

Also, in the team competition, the winner will be selected, who will receive 1 thousand US dollars..

This is the second international wrestling tournament in Tajikistan. The first was held in honor of National Unity Day this year.
