At the end of July, the Dushanbe mayor's office assured that the object would be ready by September 9.

The builders were unable to complete the construction of the park with the 121-meter monument "Istiqloliyat va Ozodi" (Independence and Freedom) in Dushanbe as scheduled. This was reported to "Asia-Plus" by a source in the capital's mayor's office.

Earlier, the city authorities assured that the facility, which is being built for the 30th anniversary of the country's independence, will be ready by September 9 this year..

«Despite the fact that 1 thousand builders have been working around the clock on the construction of the facility since July, and the construction progress is personally supervised by the mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali on a daily basis, the plans of the capital's authorities did not come true on time», – noted the source.

According to him, it is not yet known when the facility will be commissioned..

«Maybe by the Constitution Day (November 6) or by the President's Day (November 16), the construction of the park will be completed», – stated in the mayor's office.
