Оa landslide occurred in the village of Tundara of the Bakhor rural jamoat of the city of Vahdat on the night of September 14, reported by the press service of the Committee for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The landslide volume was approximately 1,440 cubic meters. The back rooms of two farms and a public teahouse of the village are partially damaged, the report says..

According to preliminary data, the cause of the landslide was over-irrigation of an apple orchard, which was laid out in the upper part of residential buildings, on the top of a hill.

"Excessive irrigation led to soil erosion, which triggered a landslide "- reported by the Committee for Emergency Situations.
