Heads of SCO member states Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping will participate in an online format.

A meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the SCO, opens in Dushanbe on September 17 at the Kohi Navruz complex.

The Dushanbe summit chaired by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon is attended by the heads of the SCO member states – Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the heads of the SCO observer states – the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mongolian President Uhnaagiin Khurelsukh will attend the Dushanbe summit online.

Also, the summit will be attended by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as a guest of honor, SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov and Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure Jumakhon Giyosov.
