The President's working visit to GBAO is expected to take place from 25 to 30 September.

During the President's working visit to the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, more than 120 important state and public facilities will be commissioned, reported in the GBAO administration.

Not all facilities will be commissioned by the President himself: the opening ceremony of some facilities will be attended by members of the government and the regional leadership.

«In Khorog, the president will commission a new water supply line, open a school and a youth center. In the Roshtkala region, the buildings of the tax, financial, statistical offices, the flag square, the Pamir Energy service center and other socio-economic facilities will be commissioned», – a source said.

According to him, Emomali Rahmon will commission the building of the Justice Department in the center of the Darvaz region and open new educational institutions in the Sagyrdasht jamoat of this region.

In the Shugnan region, the head of state will open an employment agency building and launch the construction of the Kalai Khumb – Darvozai Rushan road.

It is also expected that Emomali Rahmon will lay the foundation for the construction of the flag square and coat of arms in some areas of the region, added a source.
