People's Artist of Tajikistan and theatrical figure Sairam Isaeva was awarded a special prize at the Pearl of the Silk Road international film festival, which is taking place these days in Tashkent. The statuette and a cash prize of $ 20 thousand were presented to the actress for her outstanding contribution to the development of world cinema.

In addition to Sairam Isaeva, special prizes were given to Raj Kapoor (India), Nikita Mikhalkov (Russia) and Nuri Bilge Jeylam (Turkey). Instead of Raj Kapoor, his son participated in the awards ceremony.
