Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali has appealed to the residents of the capital before the season of planting flowers and seedlings.

In his appeal, which was released by the Dushanbe mayor’s office on October 7, the mayor calls on the residents of Dushanbe to turn the Tajik capital into the city of flowers.

He called on the residents of Dushanbe to actively participate in the flower and seedling planting campaign.

Recall, more than 12.5 million flowers were planted in the Tajik capital last spring, which was 2.5 million flowers more than in 2020.

Meanwhile, about 7 million flowers were reportedly planted in Dushanbe in mid-September by summits of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
