Bokhtar, the capital of the Tajik southern province of Khatlon, will host the 8th conference on cooperation between the regions of Tajikistan and Russia that will take place on November 30, according to TASS. 

The conference will focus on the issues related to economic cooperation between the two countries, especially in the agrarian sector.  

The previous seventh conference took place in Moscow on November 16-17, 2019.  The conference brought together senior representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, representatives of regions, heads of public associations and companies of the two countries. 

A number of roundtables to discuss cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture, logistics, industry, investment, trade, education and culture took place on the sidelines of the 7th conference.  

The 7th conference on cooperation between the regions of Tajikistan and Russia took place within the framework of an official visit of President Emomali Rahmon to the Russian Federation.
