Only in recent days, when the Ministry of Health recognized the presence of coronavirus in Tajikistan, 85 infected were detected in the country – according to its own data.

62 new cases of COVID-19 infection registered in Tajikistan over the weekend, the country's Ministry of Health and Social Protection reports.

The fact that the country reappeared coronavirus, for the first time since November, the Ministry of Health announced late in the evening on January 21 on its website. 

«On January 21, during a regular meeting of the Headquarters of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan to take specific measures to prevent and treat patients with COVID-19, it was found that 23 new cases of infection with this infection were registered in the country over the past day», – was noted in the message.

 On Saturday, 36 cases were identified, on Sunday – 26 more.

According to the Ministry of Health, there have been no cases of coronavirus in the country since November 20 last year. 

However, since the end of December last year, a very strange flu began to spread throughout Tajikistan. The fact that it was the flu was claimed by the Ministry of Health. But laboratories in the country detected dozens of cases of coronavirus, social media users posted posts and certificates that they had a coronavirus infection with a positive test for COVID-19.
