Rahmon shakes up officials

President Rahmon Emomali, who is Head of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, has introduced a number of staff, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  

Jamshed Jourazoda was appointed the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science.

Shukrullo Khairzoda and Lutfiya Abdukholiqzoda were appointed Deputy Ministers of Education and Science. 

Sabzali Jafarzoda was appointed to head the National Testing Center under the President of Tajikistan, replacing Khurshed Ikromi.  

Shabnam Rahimzoda was appointed the First Deputy Head of the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan.

Suraj Chorshanbezoda and Parviz Sobirzoda were appointed Deputy Heads of the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs

The head of state also replaced heads of a number of departments of the Drug Control Agency under the President of Tajikistan.  

By government’s decrees heads of a number of departments of the Customs Service and heads of border crossing points (BCPs) and education departments in Khatlon province were replaced.

Besides, the President's proposal for appointment Abduqahhor Mirzozoda and Mahmurod Mahmadalizoda auditors at the Accounts Chamber of Tajikistan was submitted to the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament).
