Head of Khatlon health directorate replaced

Shaidullo Sharifzoda, who had formerly served as head of the Directorate for Organization of Medical Services and Modern Technologies at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population (MoHSPP), has been appointed to head the Khatlon Health Directorate, replacing Mirzoali Rajabzoda.

According to the MoHSPP press center, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda introduced the new head to the Directorate staff on February 21.

Ms. Firouza Sharifi, the Deputy Governor of Khatlon Province, reportedly also attended the ceremony of presentation of the newly appointed head of the Khatlon Health Directorate.  

Shaidullo Sharifzoda was born on April 27, 1969 in Vose district of Khatlon province.  

He graduated from the Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali Sino in 1994.

Sharifzoda had served as head of the Health Ministry Directorate for Organization of Medical Services and Modern Technologies since September 2020.
