Rahmon inaugurates a number of social facilities in the Tajik capital

On Thursday March 17, President Emomali Rahmon and Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali participated in official opening ceremonies of a number of social facilities in the Tajik capital.  

In Dushanbe’s Shohmansour district, Emomali Rahmon inaugurated a 4-star Rumi Hotel and Residences with a total space of 4,176 square meters, according to the Tajik president’s official website. 

The construction of the hotel was reportedly financed by local entrepreneurs in accordance with requirements of the Dushanbe municipal redevelopment plan.  

In Dushanbe’s Firdavsi district, Emomali Rahmon and Rustam Emomali participated in an official opening ceremony of “Zakiya” kindergarten that will accommodate 140 children.  

In Dushanbe’s Sino district, they inaugurated an additional building of the private high school “Kafolat”.  The building will accommodate 432 pupils in one shift, the Tajik president’s official website says.  

In Dushanbe’s Sino district, the head of state also inaugurated Kokhi Olimp (Olympic Palace) sports complex.  A total cost of this project 12 million somonis.
