Russian news agency TASS says top Russian diplomat Sergei Lavrov arrived in Dushanbe Wednesday for participation in the CIS foreign ministers’ meeting.

The Russian foreign minister reportedly arrived in Dushanbe from Muscat, where he had been on a working visit.

The CIS foreign ministers are expected to discuss prospects of cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

A special attention will be given to the issues related to international security and further expansion of humanitarian and scientific collaboration.
