The enterprise worth $160 million will be able to produce 1.8 million tons of cement per year.

The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon instructed to approve the draft Investment Agreement between the government of the republic and the Orien Invest company on the construction and commissioning of a cement production plant in the Kubodiyon district of the Khatlon region.

The State Committee for Investments and State Property Management, by the relevant government decree, undertakes, after signing the agreement, to send it for ratification to the lower house of the country's parliament.

The draft agreement published on the portal of legal information of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan states that the annual capacity of the enterprise will be 1.8 million tons of high-quality cement per year.

The total investment for the implementation of this project is $160 million.
