On August 30, Emomali Rahmon held a meeting of the Government of Tajikistan.

The Minister of Labour, Migration and Employment of the Population Shirin Amonzoda was the first to read out her report on the implementation of the State Program for the Promotion of Employment of the Population of Tajikistan for 2020-2022 at the meeting, the press service of the head of state reports.

This program includes a set of measures that create conditions for promoting employment of the population, thereby laying the foundation for improving the welfare of the country's population.

The implementation of the set of indicators of the Program for 2020-2021 and the first half of 2022, according to Amonzoda, is ensured at the level of 99.8%

In 2020-2021 and the first half of 2022, almost 353.5 thousand people applied to the labor and employment authorities. In total, 179,240 people were provided with jobs within the framework of the program. Unemployment benefits were paid to 32 thousand 358 citizens for a period of 3 months.

According to the Agency for Statistics of the country, in 2020-2021 and the first half of 2022, 421 thousand 726 new jobs were created in the economy of Tajikistan, of which 156 thousand 623 are permanent.
