– In your opinion, how successful were these 30 years for bilateral relations? On April 8, 2022, Tajikistan and Russia celebrated a significant date – the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The parties agreed on an action plan for this event, which is filled with meaningful events.

For all 30 years, Tajik-Russian relations have been developing exclusively on the basis of the traditions of friendship, mutual respect and mutual support, on the basis of the principles and obligations of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance and the Treaty of Allied Cooperation, oriented to the 21st century. A stable dynamics of interaction has been built between our countries in all major areas – political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, military and military-technical.

For three decades, Tajikistan and Russia have been able to accumulate a solid “baggage” of joint results. A large contractual and legal framework, which includes more than 300 intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements, is a confirmation of the above.

The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, has repeatedly noted that the multifaceted development of bilateral relations with Russia is one of the priorities in the system of foreign policy priorities of Tajikistan
