The Russian Federation is ready to assist Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in resolving border issues in connection with the aggravation of the situation on the border of the two countries. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova, writes TASS.

«We express our readiness to assist the parties in reaching a long-term mutually acceptable solution to border issues, using the rich Russian experience of border demarcation, including with Central Asian neighbors», – said Maria Zakharova on the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Also, according to Zakharova, Russia calls on both sides to take all necessary measures to return the situation to the political and diplomatic field and jointly suppress any kind of provocation.
