On September 27, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Washington.

«The parties discussed the current situation in Afghanistan and noted the need to strengthen cooperation in the fight against modern challenges and threats, including terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking», – reports the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.

Also, according to the agency, an exchange of views took place on important regional and global issues.
